SkyLine is proud to be a sponsor of the Annual Heart Walk in Ashe County which benefits the American Heart Association. Our team of employees come up with creative ways to raise money, including employee cookout events and our popular raffle, which features donated items from area businesses. Thanks to our local and area businesses for supporting this effort. Several thousands of dollars have been raised for the AHA, and a listing of our annual fund-raising totals are highlighted on this page.
The annual Heart Walk event takes place in May of each year. Information about the next year’s event will be posted next spring.
As the American Heart Association’s signature fund-raising event, the Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun, family environment. More than one million walkers participate in over 500 events raising funds to save lives from this country’s number-one and number-three killers—heart disease and stroke.
